I certainly refuse to watch everyday of this trial, but from what I have watched have brought me to notice that Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez might not been at his best. I assumed this by watching him call witnesses and then basically get them arguing with him about different facts of the case such as the trunk of the car. I was thinking how does this guy think he is going to win when you can’t keep your own witnesses on your side. I did watch the closing statements and was amazed how these witnesses he called were not actually paid for their investigation by the defense, but they were the State of Florida’s expert investigators.
By bringing up the information from the State of Florida’s expert investigators were not used by the prosecution was brilliant especially by them not being on Baez side during their testimony for the defense. What was amazing is that this whole thing has gone on for 3 years and at the end there probably will not be a conviction because nobody saw a murder and there was nothing to link Casey Anthony with the death of her daughter Caley. At then end, all we are going to hear is how much the State of Florida has wasted tax payer’s money with this trial and trying to bring charges on someone who didn’t do it.
What is really amazing is how they did all of this research about Casey and really did not have anything to connect her to the murder, but yet what research have they done on her father George Anthony? They would not do any because he is a retired cop! Therefore he could not have done it because there has never been a dirty cop in the history of the United States.
Jose Baez brought up a powerful point in that Casey was not smart enough to get away with stealing money and a number of other things, but she was so smart that she could outwit expert investigators. Because she didn’t do it! George Anthony knew the policies and procedures of police investigators and could have out smarted expert investigators.
What is even funnier is that all of the witnesses have either been discredited or stretched their findings for expert witnesses. Again, the end will result in a question of why so much money was wasted on this case. The news loves it as they are selling advertisement like crazy due to their coverage. They all want to prove they should earn your business to get their news from now on. So I guess that is better for the economy? By the way, click on my ads so I can get paid too. lol
