Cable sharing

I don’t have cable, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love it. So, my boyfriend told me to just use his tvbydirect Saint Charles and record the shows I want to watch when I come over to his house. Not only was this a great way for me to save money, but I figured I might be able to turn him onto some of the shows that I like and we could enjoy them together. Unfortunately, this was wishful thinking. I set it up to record Law and Order: SVU and Tabitha’s Salon Takeover for starters. I thought that the first was a shoe-in, but I knew that the latter could possibly be a stretch. So, every time I’m over at his house and we are trying to decide what to watch on TV, I always suggest one of my pre-recorded programs because we can skip the commercials. However, every time I get, “Well, why don’t we see what else is on first?” in response. I thought this whole set-up was a great idea but I guess I was wrong.
