Dr Phil: Casey Anthony’s Parents Interview

I watched the two part Dr. Phil interview of George and Cindy Anthony. As many know, George and Cindy are the parents of Casey Anthony, the mother who was acquitted of murder charges for the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony. I was happy to be able to view the whole interview without commercial interruption on YouTube.

I think this interview was setup to hopefully clear the air that George Anthony had anything to do with the accidental death of his granddaughter Caylee. After watching the first 10 minutes of Part 1, George was portrayed as a shady character who betrayed his family with gambling, cheating and lying. Cindy had accepted him back before the death of Caylee, but his daughter was not as forgiving. Cindy explained how he was so wrong for lying, but he would not lie about his family.

So far it, Part 1 had not been proving anything to the contrary of what was portrayed in court. The next day I watched Part 2 and was amazed how differently each of Casey’s parents stories were about their daughter Casey.

In the combination of the two interviews, nothing had been proven that we didn’t already know. George Anthony is shady and both are liars. I am amazed that not once have I heard more details about George Anthony’s job he retired from as a homicide detective If anyone would know how to murder someone with the least likelihood of being caught, it would be a homicide detective. If anyone would know who to murder someone and make it look like someone else did it, it would be a homicide detective.

Another funny thing was that the Anthony’s would not take any money for the interview, but they would have all of the money donated to the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The charitable organization is set up so that 80% of the money to go to George and Cindy in administration expenses. Sounds pretty bogus to me. Dr. Phil got much higher ratings with their two shows and will continue his interview with the Anthony’s Dr. Phil’s tenth season. What a way to end a season and attract viewer moving forward. Honestly, it probably won’t be worth watching as the Anthony’s have proven to continue to lie and deceive others.
