Cheddar's

My wife and I ate lunch at Cheddar's this past Saturday afternoon. We have passed by it a number of times since it opened a couple of months ago and it always looks very busy. It didn't look so bad, we were hungry and decided to give them a try. We were surprised to be able to park right in front of the door. We were very impressed by how nice the restaurant looked as you see the picture I took of the aquarium as we left.

We started off having the loaded nachos with half beef and half chicken. It seemed like they took forever to come out and they didn't appear as big as I had hoped for, but they were smothered with cheese and were good. My wife had the Dijon chicken and mushrooms which was very tasty and I had the rib-eye cheese steak. We took about half of everything home and ate for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday. The prices were reasonable so we decided to treat ourselves to desert. It was a huge, fresh baked cookie with ice cream and chocolate syrup. That didn't make the doggy bag. lol

Our waiter was attentive although the food took a little too long to come out. As I mentioned, the prices were reasonable and the food was good as expected as they take pride in cooking everything from scratch. There is a possibility that we will go back even though the experience was not super fantastic.
