Nobody knows what the next version of Android is going to be, but it doesn't look like anyone has considered that this move signifies the end of Android moving from one Oracle base to another and the it was announced at the end of the year. Everyone wants faster updates, side by side apps, and uniformity across all devices. The next operating system begins with a 'J' and the version with an 'A.'
