I was so disappointed when I saw the Lakers signed Roy Hibbert because I saw he has not played well in years. When he is on the court, it is like 5 on 4.
Roy is over 7' tall and doesn't scare anyone taking a shot. He doesn't protect the rim as guards shoot in his face. He sets good picks, but can't roll to the hoop. He can make free throws, but is not a scoring threat. I don't watch every game, but I don't recall seeing him win a jump ball. Six foot Chris Paul beat him on a jump ball!
What should the Lakers do with him? No contender would use him as some teams are playing better without a Center. Trade him for anything you can get. Worst case bench him until you need someone to intentionally foul someone.
