When it comes to Chromebooks, there are only 2 that fit the bill, the Asus Chromebook Flip and the Acer R11. Both of these laptops can be put into Developer mode with a couple of buttons on startup and you can run Android applications on them successfully.
I liked the design of the Asus Chromebook Flip initially... until I dropped it and the aluminium bend in to crack the screen. I did find the Rockchip processor was much smother than the Celeron. I just wish I had bought the one listed below with 4GB of RAM.
The build quality with the bigger screen with Gorilla Glass along with the full HDMI port and 4GB of RAM made the Acer Chromebook R11 my favorite.
Please tell me what you think. Also please share if you found this helpful.
