I did it! I installed a Remington Solar Attic Fan this morning... Well it ran into the first hour of the afternoon but I didn't start until 10am.
The hardest part was aligning the fan to the hole I cut. If I were to do it again, I would line up the fan to the hole by removing the shingles first, mark where you want to bolt it down, then cut the tie wraps holding the thermostat before bolting down.
I think I did well for doing it by myself without supervision. I obviously went into the attic when done to take a picture from under and my hole wasn't perfect but it does the job as it is much cooler in the attic now.
