The Droid Bionic is made by Motorola who made the first Droid phone for Verizon. This Droid has the feel of the same as all Motorola Droid phones, but is Motorola’s first on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Droid Bionic is finally out and the reviews are starting to come in.
I started reading Engadget’s Review and I say start because it was long and repetitive. So let me summarize: The new Droid Bionic has a dual core processor but it is not the Tegra processor as once believed. The battery is big, but the screen and everything about the phone is not really different from Motorola’s Droid X2 other than it is capable of 4G LTE and it has Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Gingerbread allows you to finally use the front facing camera for video chat with Google Talk.
Gingerbread is almost enough to want to get the phone, but you have to wait a few more weeks for everybody else who has a phone with a front facing camera to have their phones automatically upgraded to Gingerbread before you can use the phone to video chat with another friend on a mobile phone.
Just like with any new device, the price starts off high and will come down in a couple of months. Come on Black Friday! But if you want to get it now, or any other phone, check out this link as it will beat Best Buy and any carriers phone price.
