Living in Orlando where the all-star game will be played, this year's NBA season is a big deal. In my prior blog I mentioned that I like the short season in terms of how many games are being played in a short time period. Here we are 2 weeks into the season and we are to vote for all-stars? Give me a break! This year's all-star voting is a joke. The fans are in control of who goes and it will just be a popularity contest. Will our home town favorites like Ryan Anderson get a chance to make it after how well he is playing?
One thing is for sure, Kobe Bryant will go into the all star game injured and will be forced to play. But he has played his best basketball of his career in the past couple of weeks.
