CABIN AT THE LAKE

We travel to our cabin at the lake every summer. My kids and I love to go spend the summers there. They are so relaxing. Every weekend, my husband will drive up and spend the weekends with us. Maintaining a place up there is pretty in expensive. The property tax is really low. We only have a few inexpensive bills that we pay, including: Home Security Minnesota, electricity, and water. We don’t have anything that is gas powered up there, everything runs on electricity. Sometimes it will get chilly on summer nights and we will start a fire. The kids love to eat anything on the grill. We end up cooking outside every night. My favorite part about the house at the lake is the screened in porch. You avoid the bugs, but get the wonderful breeze of the lake and can still smell the fresh air. Last summer, we bought several hammocks and put them up on the screened in porch. The cabin is really an oasis. Maybe we will retire up there.
