Kobe Out, Klay Thompson In

Kobe Bryant was voted as a starter for this year's All Star game, but due to his recent torn rotator cuff he will be missing the game. Now the best shooting guard, Klay Thompson will be starting in the All Star game. And thanks to the NBA league pass being free this week, I saw the greatest shooting exhibition ever tonight.

Klay Thompson had 15 points at half time and I was surprised to turn the game back on to see it was tied at 60 points. Then he was on fire scoring 37 points in the quarter and the Sacramento Kings only scored 19 in the quarter. He didn't miss anything as he repeatedly threw up shots in the face of defenders. The home crowd was in a frenzy state as the Golden State Warriors were up by 30 by the end of the quarter. The only mistake Klay made was passing the ball when everyone wanted him to continue to shoot.

Klay was close to the 3 point line at the end of the quarter when 2 Kings players fouled him before he could shoot it again. He shot the ball after the foul call and it went in also. He hit both free throws to finish up his outburst with 52 for the game. He started the 4th quarter,  missed his next shot and came out of the game at the next break.

Ray Allen might need to play a couple more years or he will be the number 3 on the all time 3 point baskets scored by the end of next season behind Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.
