The Orlando Magic beat the Chicago Bulls on Monday in Chicago and then tonight beat the Houston Rockets at home. Against two of the best defensive teams in the league, the Magic scored at least 120 points each night. I saw great things from the first game I saw of the Orlando Magic this year and they are proving they are more than just a bunch of young guys.
Elfrid Payton is a great rookie point guard that has consistently pushed the tempo every time he is put in the game. He must work on his shot, but he will be providing excitement for years to come. That was my honorable mention, but I feel the Magic have at least 3 quality players to make this year's Eastern Conference All Star team.
Nikola Vucevic has proven to be the best center in the Eastern Conference if not the whole NBA.
Vucevic and Payton were part of the results from the Dwight Howard trade a couple of years ago. Not only did the Magic make out like bandits in that trade, I will argue that they got the better, more consistent center in the deal too. Vucevic came to the Magic with Tobias Harris who has played very well this season also with 2 game winning buzzer beaters so far this season. Harris should also be named to the All Star team.
Speaking of Chicago, ever since Michael Jordan retired, someone wants to anoint someone as being next Jordan. Oladipo reminds me of a young Michael Jordan with his size, quickness, jump shot, leaping ability and basketball knowledge. I wouldn't be surprised to see Victor bulk up in the next few years and be completely unstoppable.
the
With Oladipo's rise, he is not afraid to pass the ball off as Vucevic and Harris has probably benefited the most. Evan Fournier signed with the Orlando Magic this off season and has also brought a great deal of energy also. Fournier hit a 3 pointer in 33 consecutive games this season and I would recommend that he should make the All Star team this year also.
To summarize, the All Star starters should include the Magic's Nikola Vucevic and Victor Oladipo. Tobias Harris and Evan Fournier should be named to the All Star team this year also. Someone like Jeff Van Gundy might say that they should not have any All Stars with a losing record, but as of tonight the Cleveland Cavs and LeBron James have a losing record. The Orlando Magic are a young team who will mend and build a great basketball team for years to come.

Scoring Secrets Revealed
The other starter from the Magic for the Eastern Conference All Star team should be Victor Oladipo. Oladipo was the Magic's first round draft pick from the prior year. He brings a high level of energy along with great pay making ability. In fact Oladipo and Vucevic each scored 33 points in Monday's win in Chicago.Speaking of Chicago, ever since Michael Jordan retired, someone wants to anoint someone as being next Jordan.
