Review: Blogger App for Android

I have noticed that Google is expanding into offering Domains at a much better rate than most other companies. They are teaming up with different website builders also. This is being done while we have not seen any improvement to the Blogger app for Android.

Below is my comments I left inside Google Play:
Only good for posting a basic blog. Inserting pictures with this app is a disaster. Need to be able to have the ability to show regular view vs HTML option. Changing formatting is impossible. Unfortunately Chrome is not much help either. A 3rd part browser like Firefox works best to be able to do everything, but can't share things from my device to Blogger through Firefox. When using this app to share to Blogger, it doesn't allow you to pick which blog you would like to share it to if you have more than one blog through Blogger.

Another gripe I have is spacing when using the app. I always have to edit the blog in a browser because there is no spaces between paragraphs.

I have seen others comment that the app needs a material design makeover also. Honestly, material design is a fad that will come and go.  Making Blogger work fluently on all devices is the most important thing that needs to be focused on.

Wordpress has a mobile app that works well on all devices and possibly it is upgraded to meet HTML5 standards because the experience appears the same on my mobile website browser and the Android app. The mobile experience with Wordpress websites doesn't differ too much from the desktop experience.
