Sling TV is a Complete Failure

Sling TV was announced 2015 CES. I was excited to see it was coming since we just ended our DirecTV plan after Christmas 2014. It took a while before it became available on the phone.  They took another 4 months before it was available on Android TV and 6 months after the release before you could use with Chromecast.

The primary reason for me to get it so I can watch NBA games on ESPN and TNT.  Live games have looked so horrible. Most of the time the picture looks worse than standard definition.  It didn't matter if I was watching on my phone, Android TV, Xbox One or Chromecast.

I might be able to deal with the horrible performance if it were free, but I am not paying for this crap. I did give them a call for technical support. I found that their fastest stream is 3.8mps. WTF! I am paying for 200 mps so I can stream, play games and download stuff quickly.  It is not being throttled on my end. When you look at the settings, you can see the stream speed. Most of the time it is going 2 mps, but when it drops lower, the picture freezes, looks horrible or the app just crashes altogether.
I hope my new S7 Edge with Gear VR allows me to watch all the games with Go90. That damn app is only good for watching on your phone anyway.
