I cannot believe Chevy has commercials asking the driver why is he at a gas station. HELLO! Because it is not fully electric. It has a electric motor, but it has a gas powered generator to provide power to the battery. Did you know that the Volt weighs as much as a SUV?
As heavy as a car… Uses gasoline… Has a generator = engine… You would have to be a fool to believe the Volt has an resemblance to an electric car!
Why did the government bail out GM? They have messed up their products for decades, refuse to think outside the box, but they were worth saving? They should have done the same with them as they did with Wachovia and Washington Mutual. GM should have been sold for penny’s on the dollar for their assets and let another company take them over to turn them into a real company. Since the value of GM is so low, Bill Gates or Warren Buffet should use a month’s salary to buy them and revolutionize the United States.
